#55 ADHD & Emotions

Emotions dysregulation is one of the ADHD symptoms that has the biggest affect on our lives. 


And here's why:

  • When we don't manage our emotions, they manage us. 

  • When we don't know how to respond to them, we react

  • Our emotions drive all of our actions. 


Emotions are everything! 


When we take action (this includes procrastination) it’s because of how we feel.

When we are watching Netflix & scrolling on Instagram, it's not because we are lazy. 

It’s because of an emotion we are feeling.


And here's the best news: Emotional regulation is a skill we can learn.
