Procrastination, not doing the thing we need and or want to get done, drains our confidence because we aren't doing what we said we were going to do. We tend to beat ourselves up heavily for our lack of action.
Procrastination stems from one (or a mix) of the following: *Perfection - wanting to get it right & fear of failing or doing it wrong. *Uncertainty, confusion or indecision - Not knowing where to start or what to do. *Seeking short term comfort - Telling ourselves we deserve a break, we'll do it later or thinking I just don't feel like it. You will always find a reason & an excuse to do it - that part is easy & 100% normal. 'I don't feel like it' is not a good excuse - it is indulging in short term comfort over the long term reward. Every time you listen to it & indulge in it you push your dreams further away. An earned rest feels 100x better than taking a break to avoid doing the thing we want to get done. Listen to this episode to find out how to give procrastination the middle finger for good!
