Like being at home - you feel comfortable in your own home environment. We have emotions in our body that feel comfortable.
Even if this emotional comfort zone (CZ) is hurting you, your subconscious brain will keep leading you back to it because it’s most familiar, it is what you know. It's a habit.
If your emotional CZ is different to what you need to feel in order to attain your goals then you will experience self-sabotage.
Self sabotage = self protection
In order to change your emotional CZ you must practice how you want to feel.
Whilst reminding yourself that you are safe & that you have your own back.
